So, Zed tell us a little bit about yourself and your background?
After leaving school I went straight to employment and have been working for over 20 years in leisure and tourism, specifically museums and attractions in London, I have worked for many top visitor sites in London including, Madame Tussauds, the British Museum and Royal Museum Greenwich. Helping visitors secure the best value tickets and ensuring they make the most of their experience has always been a passion of mine. I’m from London myself, as a city you can’t beat it for the variety of attractions and days out it has to offer for all ages. On a more personal note, in my spare time I play football and am an avid Arsenal fan.
Where did you get the idea for Findacrowd?
Working in front of house at attractions and engaging with visitors and tourists about the different ticket types available, I always wanted to ensure I offered them the best value ticket options. Often, visitors on their own found that single tickets were always at a premium so I would encourage them to find other single visitors to create a group. It only needed one person acting as a group leader to purchase a group ticket instead, which saved each individual money and had the added benefit of fast track entry. The concept of Findacrowd was born!
What problem are you trying to solve?
All too often, single visitors would simply walk away if they weren’t happy to pay the premium single adult price, especially when they could see the discounts being offered to families, groups & concessions. Findacrowd enables members to save on gate entry prices (whether visiting alone or as a group) and attractions and event organisers gain an additional revenue stream from individuals that felt penalised by the higher ticket price and walk away.
How does Findacrowd work?
You can find us on both Apple Store and Google Play, simply download the app (which is free!) and sign up as a Findacrowd member. Register your details and set up your profile, search for groups already set up or start your own, choosing from a wide range of key UK attractions, selecting your preferred date and time of visit. Once your group has reached its minimum capacity of members required, you will gain access to exclusive discounted ticket prices normally reserved for groups only.

The covid pandemic hit the leisure & hospitality industry hard, with many attractions and events having to close for very long periods of time coupled with the inbound tourist market which was wiped out completely.
